What is the UFI code?

UFI code is an abbreviation for unique formula identifier. The UFI code should be on the label of your products containing hazardous mixtures. In addition to the UFI code, there are several pieces of information that you need to provide. If we summarize it as follows, many definitions such as the components of your mixtures, the trade name of your chemical, the colour of the product, the packaging category of the product, and toxicological information should be submitted to the Poison Control Centre. The product placed on the market and the information provided to the UFI shall be in full conformity.
In an emergency, the poison control centre uses the UFI code. In addition, UFI provides privacy conditions for companies.

When should the UFI code be changed?

A new UFI code is required if the content of the composition is changed, or if various changes are made to the product, if a new trade name is assigned to the product, the UFI code must be renewed. UFI code can be added to products voluntarily. For example, you can have a UFI code added to an unclassified product.
