The classification of chemicals considers the chemical’s environmental and human health effects in question and the routes of exposure to the chemical. What information is required to include the chemical in the classification and labelling inventory?

1) Name, address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address of the importer or manufacturer.
2) Contact the person of the importer or manufacturer.
3) Address of the importer or manufacturer’s place of manufacture.
a) Identity of the item whose details are given.
b) Classification of the substance.
c) In the case of classification of the substance, information on the absence of data, the conclusive nature of the data.
d) Special concentration limit values or M-coefficients
e) Additional identified hazard statement of the substance together with the labelling information.
